Ivory handle representing dog biting a boar. Malacca shaft

This cane represents a wild boar being attacked by a hunting dog. The square knob, very finely worked, is made of ivory. Animals' eyes are made of tinted glass and the shaft is made of Malacca.
This rare cane was owned by an American man who was living in Texas. His grandfather, a merchant who was keen of wild boar hunting was never going out without this cane which was the symbol of his favourite hobby.
